# Sign in with a magic link Sign in without typing a password. NuForce emails you a link that logs you in when you open it. # Sign in with a magic link A magic link lets you sign in without a password. NuForce emails you a link, and opening it signs you in. ## How it works 1. Request a magic link from the sign-in page. 2. NuForce sends a link to your email address. 3. Open the email and select the link. 4. The link carries a one-time token. Opening it signs you in and takes you to your dashboard. The token is single-use and time-limited. If the link has expired or has already been used, you will see a message and can request a new one from the same page. ## When to use it - You do not remember your password and do not want to reset it. - You are signing in on a device where typing a password is awkward. Magic links go to your email, so you need access to the inbox for the address on your account.
